I Light the Match of Smiles

This excerpt is from "Metaphysical Meditations" by Paramhansa Yogananda

I made some minor grammatical changes to shift from a passive to an active voice.
Affirmations are more effective in the active (and present) voice.

I light the match of smiles.
My gloom-veil disappears.

I behold my soul in the light of my smiles,
hidden behind the accumulated darkness of ages.

As I find myself, I race through all hearts
with the torch of my soul smiles.

My heart smiles first, then my face and my eyes.
Every body part shines in the light of smiles.

I run amid the thickets of melancholy hearts and make a bonfire of all sorrows.

I am the irresistible fire of smiles.
